Mommy Must Have: Roomba

I grew up watching The Jetsons where Rosie the housecleaning robot was every mothers dream come true. I'm still waiting for a housecleaning robot in 2014, but I'll take the Roomba for now. I can't explain what a lifesaver this little vacuum has been! I hardly ever vacuum with a manual vacuum cleaner- ever. In fact, the Roomba does a better job. I have dark hardwood floors in my house that show every little piece of dirt and dust. If I run the Roomba on a daily basis, my floors are clean and dust free. It even gets the dirt in the corners of the baseboards. To my amazement the dirt chamber is completely full after each run! Added bonus: I'm allergic to our cat and ever since the Roomba my allergies have been better. Clean floors with no work-  I don't think I could ever go back to vacuuming after being so spoiled. As a busy working mother, this is a major mommy must-have! Until Rosie the Housecleaning Robot is invented I will take the Roomba for now! {My Mommy Must-Haves are not sponsored posts. Just products that I can't live without and want to share!}

Mommy Must Haves: WubbaNub Pacifiers

I can't explain how awesome these are! These little pacifiers are attached to small plush suffed animals.   If the baby spits it out they can easily grab it and put back in their mouth by themselves. No more digging and looking for the paci! I especially loved this when traveling. When my son was really young, if the WubbaNub slipped out of his mouth, it stayed on his chest and he was able to move his head around to get the paci back in his mouth. No more crying, stopping the car, digging for the paci to keep him from crying. As he got older he was able to grab it and find it easy. My daughter really never took a pacifier, but she used hers for teething. Again- it great for the little ones to grab. I don't know how many people would come up to me and complain they wished they had one when their kids were little. The WubbaNub is made out of medical grade silicone (safe for latex allergy). The WubbaNub is in my opinion just plain genius (and adorbs!)
This is not a sponsored post so all opinions are my own. I just love to share great products!

Monday Mommy Must-Haves

We are changing it up a bit on the blog and including mommy must-haves, DIY, along with our themes, product and boutique highlights and new seller products. On that note, this mommy must have is a biggie! Mommies need relaxation! Whether it be a massage, a work-out, a relaxing bubble bath, we need time to ourselves to unwind from the stresses of mommyhood. My relaxation biggie is a massage chair from Brookstone. This is the only thing that relaxes me on a daily basis. I have chronic back pain and tension headaches that have disappeared since I got the massage chair. When I feel good I have more energy and I'm in a better overall mood. I make it a priority now to take some time to relax and believe its a major mommy must-have! Not only is it good for your overall health- when you feel better and have more energy- it has a positive effect on the kiddos as well!
The model shown is the OSIM uStyle2 from Brookstone.
