FEATURED PRODUCT: Parker Time Potions Original

Parker Time is a specially formulated, all natural body care for kid’s that offers three different product lines available at The Baby Burp. These products have numerous moisturizing properties and provide opportunity for a child and parent to bond.  We consider Kelly, mom to Parker, a mommy inventor and here is more information about her and her products taken from her portfolio page:

When I became a new mom I found that it was especially hard to devote time to my baby with a full-time job, graduate school and just dealing with the many challenges of becoming a parent. As time went on I started noticing that my son, Parker, was not doing things that other kids his age were. These including playing, talking, crawling and even walking at a rate that was considered “delayed.” I did however notice my son doing things that were out of the ordinary, such things as:  repetitive behaviors, tending to become irritable when in busy social situations and not interacting with kiddos his own age.

Naturally as a mother I felt scared and as if I had done something terribly wrong to hinder my son’s development. I wanted to bond with my baby son and experience the joy of development and progress. I started researching, reading and talking to friends and family about what was happening with Parker. Throughout this process I found that massage was a way for Parker and me to bond when the “normal” avenues of bonding were not available. 

My family is in the all-natural body care industry and I was able to formulate my own massage products or as we call them now “potions” for my son.  This not only gave me piece of mind that I was using a quality product for my son, but it allowed us to slow down and bond with each other.  As a parent, any parent, scared, confused, happy, sad, or elated, whatever the situation….the parent child bond is priceless. These products have been very beneficial for my son and as I started distributing these products amongst my closest friends with younger children, these “potions” received rave reviews.

In the last few months as I have been continuing to formulate these products for my son, he was diagnosed with autism.  This brought on another opportunity for Parker Time to not only provide an all-natural product that is chemical free, but this product line will serve as vehicle to give back some of the proceeds to fund autism research.

My hope is that providing a quality product will give parents not only piece of mind that they are using an all-natural product but to allow them to slow down and savor those precious bonding moments with their child.

When asked about her family, Kelly replied "Our family consists of myself and my son Parker, we are two peas in a pod. Our favorite game to play is "Lion" where we basically play a game of chase and randomly turn around and ROARRR at each other, it ends up in a tickle fight. Parker and I also love to read before bed, after his baby massage of course."
