Losing Baby Weight

It's been nine months since my little sweet pea was born and in still have 15 lbs of baby weight to lose.  Sadly five of those lbs. are ever since Thanksgiving. The Christmas sweets are so tempting. The other day I bought a pack of sugar cookies. Ten cookies with a whooping 160 calories each. I are the whole dang thing in two days. My never ending philosophy is to get rid of unhealthy foods by consuming it all and start a new diet regime on Monday. Monday comes around and I go to the store with a detailed grocery list of healthy meals and snacks. Temptation takes a grip at me in the bakery and I always fall for the sweets. Cookies, fudge, cupcakes, you name it and I buy it. I have never been a "sweets" person, but ever since my last pregnancy I can't help but crave them. You only crave what you eat so they say, so I need to stop eating so much junk food and back to my healthy eating. I'm going to be nursing only for a few more months and I also know that when that stops I'll add a few more lbs. to the mix.
So added to my fixation on sweets, here are my excuses for not exercising.
1. I have two kids and a business (enough said, right?)
2. There are no gyms in a 30 mile radius that has child care. (Hubby works a lot)
3. My excersise bike is in the garage buried under a pile of junk. ( our house was in a flood last year and everything we haven't gone through is still in a big pile in the garage.)
4. It's too cold outside to lug two kids in a stroller to go walking.
5. When I get on the floor to do any crunches, push ups, etc., I have a kid on top of me immediately.
6. Xbox Zumba is in the garage (reference #3)
7. Any aerobics excersise I try, there is a kid under my feet.
8.I have knee and back problems.
9. No I can't wait until my kids are asleep to do anything. They do not take simultaneous naps if any at all. When they do I'm cleaning or working on my business.

So my excuses are legit right? I know they say if you want to do something you will make it happen. Well when I do have time it's usually late at night and I'm exhausted to excersise. I'm not into diet pills, fad diets, slim loss drinks. I get hungry easy and I get hangry. So, busy mommies- what do you do? How do you lose weight and keep it off while taking care of the kiddos? I would love to hear your stories!
Until then I got a new app that will track all my calories. Maybe when I see how much I'm eating on a daily basis I can control my bad eating habits. We will see and hopefully in the spring I can post a weight loss success post!
